generating csv files - araz azarnejhad - 06-22-2015 Hi, i think this old problem of "not being able to generate .csv files from .eso files and then to gather all .csv results file in a single one"still remains.. if someone has any idea about a bit of coding for producing and gathering the results csv files .. i would be sooo gratefull if he put it here explained in an algorithmic way for an amateur coder! .. best, RE: generating csv files - Yi - 06-25-2015 Hi Araz, could you give more details of the problem? Or is this question related to an earlier discussion? RE: generating csv files - navid - 06-25-2015 Hi Dear Dr Yi, I think Araz is right. After I read Aarz's e-mail and post, i checked some models for assurance, I realized that If you use jEPlus_v1.5.1 manually, unlike the past, sometimes the results are not collected in csv file, unfortunately!!! But if you save it as (.jep) format and use (.jep) by programming {{for advanced users and programmers}}, results are shown!! I am really supersized for this problem that why jEPlus_v1.5.1 does not work manually in these days, while it works well and the results are shown using (.jep) format by programming!! In addition, i checked the models with jEPlus_v1.5_beta_07 [previous version of jEPlus], the results are shown too. For most researchers who are not familiar to program in order to use (.jep) format , it is better to solve this old problem to make it possible that researchers could use jEPlus manually. In attachment, I have sent an image of AllCombinedResults.csv for two scenarios in which results aren't shown by using jEPlus_v1.5.1. Please find the attachment. Bests, Navid Delgarm RE: generating csv files - Yi - 06-25-2015 Thanks Navid! Hmm, I cannot replicate the problem on my computer. Have you tried the example project included in the jEPlus package? Or could you or Araz upload the project files you are using? Cheers, Yi RE: generating csv files - navid - 06-25-2015 It should be noted that sometimes this problem happens, for instance, again i checked a model,it works!! But i checked for another model, it dose not work. Dr Yi, to be honest, I have not tried the example project included in the jEPlus package, but as i have sent a sample of my model to you before via e-mail directly in which jEPlus_v1.5.1 did not work, I tried on this model and other models of mine again, some time results are shown and sometimes aren't shown. I will send you another model directly to your e-mail. Bests, Navid RE: generating csv files - Yi - 06-25-2015 Very odd indeed! Any details about the models, which E+ version for example? RE: generating csv files - navid - 06-25-2015 Ok. I am using E+ version 8.1 Dear Dr Yi, (.jep) works well. In addition this problem sometimes happens...!Yes, It is very odd. Dr Yi, for more information, jEPlus_v1.5.1 ran the file which i have sent you well one week ago for my paper.I mean this problem sometimes happens and sometimes does not. RE: generating csv files - Yi - 06-25-2015 Thanks Navid for sending me your project files! Yes a bug was reintroduced in v1.5.1 that causes ReadVarsESO to fail if the RVI path in your project contains white spaces, e.g. "C:\Users\Navid\Desktop\New folder\Navid.rvi". I have updated the package to v1.5.2, which is now available to download on SourceForge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/jeplus/ Thanks again to both for flagging up this issue! Yi RE: generating csv files - navid - 06-25-2015 Dear Dr Yi, Thanks so much for your consideration and time for solving this nasty bug.Thank you very very much for early handling the problems as usual...!
